Assembler Associate

We have an immediate opening for a quality conscious individual to work full-time in our 1st shift assembly department.

About the Role:

Responsibilities will include assembly, testing, inspection and packaging of our products. 
Position Requirements/Preferences:

Experience with hand tools, measuring equipment and reading drawings and blueprints a plus. Applicants must be eighteen years of age with a HS diploma or equivalent.


Assembler Associate (Temporary)

We have a few great opportunities available in our Assembly department! These opportunities are on our 1st shift and offering up to 40 hours per week plus overtime as required.

About the Role:
In this role, you will assemble, test and inspect our products.

Position Requirements/Preferences:
Previous assembly experience and experience with hand tools is a plus, but not required. On the job training is provided! Applicants must be eighteen years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Machining Operator – Fabrication Department

We have an exciting full-time opportunity available on our first shift in our Fabrication Department. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work for a growing company where you have an opportunity to grow too, we encourage you to apply!

About the Role:
As Machining Operator, you will operate multiple types of machinery and equipment throughout the Fabrication department and perform various tasks including operating a punch press, Timesaver for deburring parts, press brake, along with related secondary equipment such as a spot welder and Strippit in accordance with Avidity Science specifications and quality standards.

Position Requirements/Preferences:
High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment required. The qualified candidate must have the ability to learn to set-up, run and troubleshoot all equipment in Fabrication in a safe manner, read and interpret measuring devices, drawings and blueprints and the ability to display a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.


Machining Operator – Welding Department

As Machining Operator, you will operate multiple types of machinery and equipment throughout the Welding department and perform various tasks including automatic welding, cutting pipe to length, degreasing and washing product, bending pipe and operating the end finisher in accordance with Avidity Science specifications and quality standards.

High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment required. Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Supervisor

About the Role

As Supervisor, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, you will lead the mechanical and electrical engineering teams.  Key job responsibilities will include the following:

 

  • Coordinate the research and development efforts for new product development projects.
  • Coordinate the current product maintenance for mechanical and electrical components and systems.
  • Supervise staffing, organizational needs, assignments, and goals of the mechanical and electrical engineering teams.
  • Ensure proper application of engineering principles in all design and development work.
  • Document accurate weekly team assignment status that covers current and backlog work.
  • Ensure all deliverables are complete and timely.
  • Assess the need for tools and technology upgrades and advances along with overall engineering team.
  • As a member of the R&D team, participate in the establishment and improvement of engineering SOP’s and standards for product realization, product life cycle management, quality and compliance to market / industry standards.
  • Perform or implement, through mechanical and electrical engineering team, all the functions and responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer and Electrical Engineer roles.

 

Position Requirements/Preferences

The qualified candidate will have the ability to effectively supervise projects to scheduled commitments, train, develop and lead a team, direct and make decisions with customers and contractors and communicate verbally and in written format.  Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or related and a minimum of 7 years practical mechanical design and project management experience, preferably in a leadership role supervising a team with proven success.

About the Role:

As Sales Consultant, you will:

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying a total product solution, matching our products to customer needs and minimizing competitive losses.
  • Build and strategically manage relationships with new and existing customers by establishing yourself as a trusted expert through mastering product knowledge and differentiating our solutions from the competition.
  • Develop and execute detailed account plans including understanding customer goals, business objectives, and corresponding strategies.
  • Leveraging our CRM software, manage multiple, complex sales processes from initial contact through receipt of purchase order, training and beyond.
  • Participate in conferences, meetings and trade shows as needed to generate sales leads and increase awareness of company product lines.

Position Requirements/Preferences:
The ideal candidate will have selling experience in the life sciences, laboratory or in vivo research/vivarium industry, a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Biology, Life Science or related field and 5 years’ work experience, excellent relationship building skills, strong mechanical and problem solving skills as well as the ability to manage projects to scheduled commitments and budgets.
