Quality Manager

About the Role:

Reporting to the VP, Operations, you will work with engineering, design, manufacturing, sales, and customers to manage, plan, and conduct activities related to the development, application, and engineering of quality assurance standards and manufacturing processes.  This role will also provide leadership and oversight to document control, supplier development, and customer valve and water quality analysis to facilitate internal and external customer satisfaction. 

 This position oversees a small team focused on meeting the needs of our customers by continually seeking solutions that are both quality and customer focused, relying on root cause analysis, research, and a focus on improving metrics.

 Key Deliverables

In year one, the individual in this role will be responsible for:

    • Creating processes to expedite our response times to customers with quality issues.
    • Identifying issues and implementing systems to reduce warranty costs.
    • Taking the current water quality/testing program to the next level.
    • Identifying gaps in the current quality management system and implementing continual improvements where needed.

 Position Requirements/Preferences

    • Must have four (4) or more years of experience in management of quality systems, ideally in the life science, water quality and/or manufacturing industry.
    • Bachelors in Engineering, Biology, Life Science, Operations Management, or similar.
    • Demonstrated expertise in root cause analysis, with a focus on improving on metrics using fact-based methodology.
    • ISO 9001:2015 preferred, or other ISO 9001 experience highly desired.
    • Knowledge and experience in water quality (i.e. water distribution systems, water filtration, water testing, chemical additives, reverse osmosis, chlorination, and acidification) a plus.

 

Sales Consultant

About the Role

As a Sales Consultant, you will:

    • Drive revenue growth by identifying a total product solution, matching our products to customer needs and minimizing competitive losses.
    • Build and strategically manage relationships with new and existing customers by establishing yourself as a trusted expert through mastering product knowledge and differentiating our solutions from the competition.
    • Develop and execute detailed account plans including understanding customer goals, business objectives, and corresponding strategies.
    • Leveraging our CRM software, manage multiple, complex sales processes from initial contact through receipt of purchase order, training and beyond.
    • Participate in conferences, meetings, and trade shows as needed to generate sales leads and increase awareness of company product lines. 

 Position Requirements/Preferences

The ideal candidate will have selling experience in the life sciences, laboratory or in vivo research/vivarium industry, a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Biology, Life Science or related field and 5 years’ work experience, excellent relationship building skills, strong mechanical and problem solving skills as well as the ability to manage projects to scheduled commitments and budgets.
