Clinical Laboratory Reagent Water (CLRW) may also be referred to as ‘CLSI Water’, as it is the Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) who have produced the recommendation for the standard of water to be used in their publication – ‘GP40-A4-AMD – Preparation and Testing of Reagent Water in the Clinical Laboratory; Approved Guideline’.
